Materials Mgmt Analyst II (Finance)



As a R&O Materials Mgmt Analyst II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in in the manufacturing environment, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise in production planning and scheduling will ensure that our R&O processes are efficient and meet customer turnaround time requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and maximize productivity in our R&O facilities.

The Materials Mgmt Analyst II is responsible for analyzing, planning, and managing material flow to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials to support production and customer requirements. This role involves working closely with mechanics, analyst, procurement, production team, logistics, ISC Planners, and inventory teams to optimize material availability, reduce excess inventory, and improve supply chain performance. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities will be essential in maintaining smooth operations and meeting R&O targets.As a Materials Mgmt Analyst II here at Honeywell, you will support the global supply chain network, manage information on capacity, and improve supply chain planning & execution. You will balance supply and demand and ensure executable schedules.You will report directly to our R&O Sr. Material Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix Sky Harbor location.YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling, preferably in R&O operations
  • Strong knowledge of production planning principles and best practices
  • Intermediate to Advance skills with SAP, Excel, VBA and database management
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment strategies to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Work closely with procurement, ISC planning/OEM, assembly line, and inventory control teams to ensure all raw materials and components are available for production
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions, identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions. Utilize lean manufacturing principles to optimize scheduling and reduce waste
  • Act as a liaison between production, supply chain, R&O Leadership, and sales departments to effectively communicate schedules and changes by utilizing SAP and Clear Track Database on R&O production schedules and addressing any issues or challenges to resolution by utilizing command center for supply chain escalation
  • Generate reports, line of balance, and dashboards to track material performance metrics (e.g., inventory turns, on-time delivery).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and supply chain efficiency.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align material planning with production and engineering changes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze material requirements and usage trends to support production schedules and customer demand.
