Chemical Operator - Level 2 (Finance)



As a Chemical Operator - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of our chemical manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for monitoring equipment, controlling process parameters, and ensuring the quality and quantity of the products. Your attention to detail and expertise in chemical operations will contribute to the overall success of our operations.

You will report directly to our FLS and you'll work out of our Orange, TX location on a 12-hour rotating shift work schedule with expected overtime coverage.

In this role, you will impact the production and quality of our chemical products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor equipment and control process parameters to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize process performance and product quality.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chemical Operator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, and equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with process control systems, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in chemical manufacturing.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
