Solutions Coordinator (Sales)
The Solutions Coordinator provides operational support for all Solutions Group activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Interfaces with the Engineered Solutions Group to coordinate the fulfillment of Engineered Solutions orders. Products are custom designed to meet customer specifications.
2.Solutions functions include coordinating all phases of delivering a product from defining customer requirements to documentation of final product delivered. This includes coordinating the specification, design, detailing, build, delivery, quality, and documentation of product (maintain ACAD drawings including revisions).
3.Utilizes the “Value Add Module” of the business system to handle all aspects of the project. Also loads vendors, ship forms and part number for solutions products and suppliers.
4.Enters orders in the business system and follows orders through to delivery by running open order reports, notifying concerned parties of late orders, expediting of orders, providing delivery status follow-up, tracking missing or delayed shipments, handling of customer claims and/or complaints.
5.Acts as the single point of contact for suppliers: enters purchase orders, follows-up on orders, processes cancellations, and generates monthly reports of supplier delivery performance.
6.Attends supplier training.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
1.High school diploma, some higher education preferred.
2.Two or more years of product, sales, technical and/or customer service experience within the Electrical distribution industry.
3.Excellent communication skills.
4.Product knowledge of the key vendors delivered by Mc-Mc.
5.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of tools as well as the Mc-Mc Business System.
6.Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
7.Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers, suppliers, and fellow employees.
