Selected candidates will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the field work conducted by water quality professionals, Biologists, and Archaeologists in addressing the environmental requirements of disaster debris removal and hazard tree program. Selected candidates will conduct site assessments, multimedia sampling, air monitoring, and health and safety in a differing levels of PPE.
All work is done in teams of 2, reporting through incident command system.
This position is in the field 100% of the time in Northern California. Work will consist of working 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday, 10 - 12 hour days and will average 50 - 60 hours per week. Extensive travel is required and varies based on project requirements; includes weekend travel and work.
Tetra Tech will provide travel, per diem, and housing accommodations when on travel, unless staff are local to the site. Full relocation will not be necessary.
This is a part-time, temporary position.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate is required to have either a BS degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Biology or a minimum of 2 years of experience conducting at least one of the following:
