Deli Catering Kitchen Staff (Finance)
Full-time and part-time hourly positions available
Some Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays are a must (you must meet schedule availability requirements to be considered for this position)
The weekly hours vary based on business volume (32 to 40 hours with some occasional overtime)
The shifts begin primarily in the morning, normally beginning between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.
The daily work is food preparation for catering clients
$15-$18* based on experience. *Includes tips

Performance Expectations - Essential Functions:
Zingerman's Community of Businesses has COVID protocols in place. All staff members are required to wear a face mask while working, 6 foot distances are maintained, temperature of all staff is required to work as well as a COVID screening document to complete before each shift.
Preps various food items such as fruits, vegetables, and meats uses various equipment such as slicers and knives
Cooks various catering menu items using ovens, grill, stovetop
Builds and arranges food attractively for presentation to our guests
Provides great service to guests and staff
Works well in a team environment
Works in a variety of environments including small spaces depending on event locations
Performance Expectations - Other Functions:
May assist with produce ordering as needed
May assist with other duties during event as needed
Success Patterns for this position:
Has intermediate to advanced kitchen prep and knife skills
Has food preparation experience (or equivalent combination of culinary education and experience)
Enjoys giving great service to guests (we follow all COVID protocols, wearing masks with contact free delivery)
Exhibits above average organizational and communication skills
Able to work with a sense of urgency, and prioritize tasks.
Comfortable bending, lifting and being on your feet for an 8 hour kitchen shift
Can lift and carry up to 50 pounds up and down stairs
