Assistant General Manager, La Luce - Signia by Hilton Orlando (Finance)




The beautiful Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek is seeking its next Assistant General Manager to help lead our modern Italian restaurant, La Luce!

In this role, you will oversee a team of 15 hourly team members, reporting to the Restaurant General Manager.

The ideal candidate is a strong, service-driven leader with at least 2 years of food and beverage management experience, ideally in upscale hotel or restaurant environments. Key strengths include scheduling, inventory, ordering, training, and beverage knowledge, paired with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a respectful, growth-focused team culture.

Hotel experience and familiarity with Italian cuisine are preferred but not required. We're looking for a dynamic leader to continue elevating this established concept.

Shift Pattern:Full availability is required, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, to support operational needs.

What will I be doing?

  • Work with General Manager to plan and direct all functions of the Food and Beverage outlet to meet the daily needs of the operation. Prepare, assign, and delegate responsibility for team members to ensure that duties take place in an effective and orderly manner.
  • Regularly review, evaluate, and respond to customer satisfaction of the restaurant outlet; handling inquiries, concerns and service complaints by coaching staff and providing solutions to problems. Acquiring feedback from guests and team members in order to implement service improvement ideas and food quality.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor schedules for the operation of Food and Beverage outlet to achieve a profitable result. Train, supervise, counsel, and evaluate line level employees in accordance to policy.
  • Maintains integrity of the operation by ensuring compliance of policies and procedures related to food and beverage, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures that relate to the
    hotel, restaurant as well as all local, state and federal laws and guidelines; responsible for staffs adherence to all food and safety regulations
  • Participates in the development, implementation and marketing of new and creative food and beverage concepts.
  • Support the General Manager in overseeing all functions that take place in the dining room and kitchen throughout service.
  • Ensure team member and customer requirements are consistently met during operations.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality, presentation, and level of service provided to guests.
