Machine Operator: Days -New Berlin (Manufacturing)

Machine Technician Expectations:

• Operate blow-molding machines
• Troubleshoot and adjust machines
• Perform routine maintenance 
• Adhere to customer specifications and work safely  
• Must demonstrate safe work practices and competency to drive a powered industrial truck

Here is our Machine Technician Career Path. The levels depend on your experience and technical skills. The pay scale increases with each level.

• LEVEL 1:
  • Run 1 molding machine platform and other support auxiliary equipment to ensure containers are produced within customer specification.  A level 1 Machine Technician will perform routine and reactive equipment maintenance to increase productivity and uptime. 
  • Great introduction for those interested in a technical career path.
• LEVEL 2:
  • Operate at least 2 different platforms of molding machines, and other support auxiliary equipment to ensure containers are produced within customer specification.  A level 2 Machine Technician will perform routine and reactive equipment maintenance to increase productivity and uptime.
  • Ideal for those with experienced technical background in manufacturing.
• LEVEL 3: Operate at least 4 different platforms of molding machines, and other support auxiliary equipment to ensure containers are produced within customer specification.  A level 3 Machine Technician will perform routine, reactive and preventative equipment maintenance to increase productivity and uptime. 
  • Train and mentor other Machine Technicians, perform methodical problem solving and perform intermediate repairs.
  • Perfect fit for an experienced technician with specific blow-molding experience, can learn all machine platforms at Radius and be a mentor to teammates.  

How do our shifts work? Full time status | 3 Day Work Week 

Day Shift: 6:45 AM-7:00 PM

Schedule: 3 Days per week and Benefits Eligible

Ideal Candidate:

• At least 1 year of technical processing, maintenance or troubleshooting experience  
• Be a technical mentor & continuous improvement leader
• High School diploma or equivalent reading, writing, basic math, and critical thinking skills
• Dependable, on time, team player
• Active and comfortable lifting up to 30lbs
• Comfortable with business computer applications and mobile device application
• Must laugh at jokes & embrace the Radius Culture
• 18 years or older
• -Must provide own basic set of tools
