Functional Training Specialist (Finance)

Dematic Corp has an immediate need for a Training Specialist in Solution Development (SD) at any of our Regional North American Dematic Offices. This position will report to the Operations Excellence Manager. The Training Specialist is responsible for designing and deploying development programs that enable people to perform the critical job of designing and estimating Dematic Solutions for our customers. The work of this individual directly supports 200 solution developers as well as thousands of execution team members.
Essential Role and Responsibilities
The Solution Development Training Specialist will be an innovative and collaborative informal leader who will connect and direct internal and external SMEs to design and deliver online, in-person, and experiential development programs that launch and grow careers of the people who design and estimate Dematic's industry-leading solutions for our customers. These development programs will engage new hires, experienced engineers, experts, and leaders; and will offer learning opportunities that enable people at all levels to deepen their knowledge and develop their capabilities.
A successful candidate will be curious, open to new ideas, and driven toward continuous improvement. Candidates must be highly collaborative and skilled at working across the enterprise to drive effective people development strategies that will enable scale. You are also someone who is able and passionate about leading change management efforts to ensure adoption of these critical initiatives.
This is an opportunity that will also include working with the SD leadership team to align SD job roles and responsibilities in concert with the skills and knowledge needed to serve an ever-improving process. Scope of responsibility includes application and assistance of others in change management practices to support organizational development and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a sustainable onboarding and assimilation program for Solution Development new hires.
Collaborate with global and regional teams to understand, align, and refine SD roles and responsibilities and associated skill matrices.
Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through consultation with managers.
Apply robust change management strategies.
Assist in designing and delivering modules and development programs, including certifications, that have a measurable impact on the business.
Curate training library for ease of access for SD team.
Work with SMEs to identify gaps in documentation and training materials.
Collaborate with global product solutions team to ensure that new product launches and release of standard subsystems is done with actionable capability development for Solution Development.
Collaborate with other learning teams (engineering, product, PMO, finance, etc.), HR's organizational development team, and subject matter experts across the organization to integrate best practices into every program and initiative.
Connect Solution Development to best sources of training both within Dematic and external networks
Market the training options and recognize individual accomplishments.
Implement and track key performance indicators that demonstrate the value of the programs deployed.

What We Are Looking For
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a relevant field, such as Education and Technology, Instructional Design, advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years' experience working in technical environments delivering learning programs.
Outstanding communication, and organizational skills.
Proven experience with designing or implementing training and change management initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
Exceptional ability to work with cross-functional teams to build partnerships and get things done.
Understanding of adult learning and instructional design principles.
Experience in material handling systems or similar industry would be an asset.
Willingness to travel up to 15%.
