Counselor - Community Based Services (Personal Services)
LifeWorks of Austin is looking to add dedicated and passionate Community-Based Counselors to our team. If this sounds like you, then you're in the right place! So, what would you be doing as a Community-Based Counselor? Not only would you be providing counseling to transition-aged youth (16-26 years old) in Travis County with a history of trauma (including homelessness,) but you would be doing so within the very community where our clients reside. This program is unique in the approach that we will meet the client where they feel most comfortable. This may be at LifeWorks service locations, client homes, coffee shops, parks, libraries, homeless encampments or shelters, etc. As a leading non-profit for those struggling with current or potential homelessness, many of our clients may be experiencing hardships that require adaptability on your part as a counselor to still provide quality services. This opportunity allows you to get directly involved in the everyday circumstances of our clients and create a true and lasting impact on their future. If you're still interested, read below for further details!
