Manager, Learning and Development (Finance)
Develop training strategies in collaboration with stakeholders to support company objectives
Design and develop training content and deliver using blended, adult learning principles/ methodologies
Create and manage the Pioneer Academy talent development programs including role-based training, rotational programs, and leadership development
Ensure proper implementation of existing operational development and training
Partner closely with operational leaders and HR team to establish learning objectives and gather necessary information
Oversee structure, maintenance and administration of the Learning Management System
Research third-party content providers and other external groups as needed. Provide recommendations to meet project goals.
Manage and maintain curriculum, materials and process documentation.
Continually monitor the effectiveness of the programs; recommend new approaches to improve, update or enhance services offered
Manage and monitor vendor performance; develop and enforce contract performance guarantees.
Work Environment
Work performed in office and manufacturing facility settings
Requires scheduling flexibility and willingness to travel as much as 25% of the time
Education/Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a related field
5 years progressive experience in a training capacity
Broad experience in curriculum design, development and delivery of adult learning using proven methodologies
Experience in developing and managing leadership development programs
Experience with Learning Management System administration
Strong instructional design skills with ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts
Understanding of online authoring tools such as Articulate 360 Suite, Adobe Captivate and/or other (SCORM, AICC) eLearning authoring software programs
Ability to present a wide range of content or facilitating discussion in a classroom or virtual learning setting
Ability to lead projects on-time and within budget
Strong consulting and analytical skills with the ability to assess business and human performance goals and gaps using both qualitative and quantitative factors
Ability to build and sustain professional relationships at all levels within the organization
Ability to handle multiple projects and adhere to deadlines and project plans effectively
Knowledge of MS Office suite; ability to learn new software quickly
Highly organized with attention to detail.
