Manager of Operations Improvement (Finance)
This role will collaborate with Core Operations leaders to identify learning needs, from which the manager will build and deliver curriculum and training programs to equip new and existing resources with the knowledge required to deliver a market-leading member, provider, and group experience. In addition, the manager will engage with areas across the organization on initiatives and corporate projects, to ensure new programs, processes and information are incorporated into Core Operations learning programs.
This manager will lead a team of instructors, coaches, technical writers, and documentation specialists to develop a high functioning team that shares best practices throughout the enterprise, and stays up-to-date on new instructional and learning techniques.
Develop the Core Operations learning strategy through collaboration with functional areas and organizational leader. Assess ongoing and future training and developmental needs, and periodically review the effectiveness of established programs. (25%)
Develop effective teams by encouraging ongoing professional development through up-to-date adult learning and training design, delivery, and assessment. Ensure the development of appropriate subject matter expertise across Core Operations, and create cross-training opportunities. (20%)
Deliver interactive, innovative learning and events using a variety of strategies, including instructor-led classroom training, virtual training, e-learning and video. Lead the development and design of learning communications through newsletters and the knowledge repository. (25%)
Oversee the assessment metrics and reporting needed to validate success of learning programs. Collaborate with the Corporate Quality team to monitor team performance, analyze error trends in Operations, and recommend improvement strategies. Work cross-functionally to eradicate errors by enhancing core curriculum, conducting refresher training, and improving documented procedures in the knowledge repository. (15%)
Serve as trusted advisor on effective and leading edge Operations learning and development strategies to achieve business goals. Research, evaluate, organize, design, develop and present in-person, virtual and e-learning training programs, based on the training needs identified. (10%)
Prepare the annual cost center budget for the department, estimating resource cost and expenditures required to meet departmental and corporate goals. (5%)

Proven leadership skills specifically related to strategic thinking, leading, motivating, process improvement/innovative thinking, implementing innovative technology -driven solutions.

Travel Requirements:
Some travel between the Harrisburg office and the Allentown office will be required (5%). Additionally, travel to work related conferences will be required (<5%).
