Headquartered in the Philadelphia area, we also have a presence in Washington DC, and Boston. We're in growth mode and seeking a Corporate Director of Human Resources to join us. In this highly visible position, will lead a team of HR professionals in a growing, fast paced environment. The role is responsible for planning, directing, and implementing HR strategies, policies and projects in all HR areas including compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance/talent management and development, succession planning, strategic workforce planning, HR strategy, compliance, and HRIS. Fully remote role, with occasional overnight travel may be required, up to 20% to one of our locations: Philadelphia, Washington DC, and/or Boston. We prefer candidates who live within our geographic footprint. Key Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of HR strategy and strategic initiatives.
Oversee employee relations and HR customer service, including leadership coaching and mentoring.
Manage the HR team, including the payroll and benefits function.
Ensure policies and procedures are legally compliant and followed.
Lead all non-accounting aspects of compensation and benefits.
Manage the performance management and talent management processes and semi-annual cycle.
Lead succession planning process for the organization.
Ensure HRIS is accurate and fit-for-purposes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (in Business or Human Resources) required; Master's degree (in Business or Human Resources) preferred.
PHR / SHRM-CP or SPHR/SHRM-SCP preferred.
10+ years management experience in Human Resources; 3+ years industry experience in professional services or consulting preferred; life sciences/pharma experience and/or government contracting experience a plus.
Ability to expertly balance strategic and tactical initiatives.
Change agent; proven experience leading others through organizational change.
Compensation and compensation benchmarking.
Benefits administration, including healthcare and 401(k).
HRIS administration.
Polished and professional; executive presence and ability to relate to stakeholders at any level; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational and political savvy.
Proactive; identifies opportunities and takes initiative without being asked.
Ability to thrive in environments of ambiguity and to discern what's important from what is "noise."
Ability to analyze existing resources and identify when additional resources are needed.
Experience in driving scaling efforts in a growing organization.
Flexible; able to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
