Customer Service Coordinator - (Job Number: 22000696) (Finance)
Arconic is currently in search of a Customer Service Coordinator to join our BCS/Kawneer Team at the Visalia, CA location .
We are the leading manufacturer of architectural aluminum products and systems for the commercial construction industry. Kawneer is part of Arconic's global Building and Construction Systems (BCS) business unit, which manufactures and markets architectural systems and products in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare material proposals and material take-offs for Kawneer products from customer supplied lists, customer elevations and architectural plans/specifications.
Work safely in a manner that protects and promotes the health and well-being of the individual, the environment, and the organization.
Interact and work with customers and sales representatives on quote follow-up, order changes, product related issues and customer claims.
Provide required levels of service to customers where Kawneer is the preferred supplier.
Coordinate and collaborate with employees and other internal resources on complex projects.
Develop knowledge of and regularly use Kawneer product portfolio and price book.
Be a point-of-contact on phone inquiries with expectation of 100% "live call" response and customer assistance without frequently forwarding calls to other front-end employees.
Order Processing and Order Management
Purchase Order review
Coordinate and advance project status, including Estimating, Order Entry and Takeoff
Schedule orders to production based on standard lead times
Interface to JDE and release to production
JDE price concession based on established guidelines
Major activities/Key Challenges
Interact with Customers and Sales Representatives
Work with customer on processing, scheduling, order changes, product issues, customer claims.
Utilize or develop knowledge of product and price book
Interact and coordinate with internal resources on projects
Essential Knowledge & Skills
Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Access, that will be further developed with training in all Kawneer front-end systems
Data entry skills with attention to detail
Written and verbal communication skills
Construction or architectural industry background a plus
Proven customer service skills including prompt response and documentation
Basic Qualifications:
HS diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
Associates Degree from an accredited institution.
Commercial or residential construction industry experience.
