Guest Service Staff (Finance)
Provides the highest level of Guest Service. Greets and provides information to Guests and Employees and performs a variety of clerical, cash handling, and customer service duties. Serves as a receptionist for the Haunted Castle office building.

Works in a fast-paced office that handles a variety of customer, employee and concessionaire services, cash handling and clerical duties. Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Shifts typically fall within possible operating hours of 8:00a.m. to 12:00a.m. seven days a week. Schedule may vary depending on season. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must keep up to date on local points of interest and be able to provide clear written directions. Must be able to stay focused on the job, dealing with constant interruptions and heavy guest contact. Must maintain confidentiality concerning all guest and employee interactions, conversations and incidents.
Job Tasks
• Greet every Guest and employee and answer questions and provide consistent, friendly and helpful guest service
• Provide consistent, friendly and helpful service to callers, employees and guests.
• Operate point of sale system and perform a variety of cash, credit card and ATM transactions and examine currency to check for counterfeits
• Answer informational phone calls
• Distribute paychecks, bus passes and parking stickers to employees
• Distribute keys, rent wheelchairs, listening devices, sign up bike lockers to guests and employees
• Handle difficult customer service situations
• Control and distribute employee complimentary wristbands
• Place ride wristbands on employees and guests
• Handle lost children and log lost and found items and return to owner, if possible
• Monitor guest access and direct guests to Haunted Castle offices for appointments
• Provide business cards to guests as needed for inquiries or customer service
• Read, understand and communicate discount coupons, promotions and other important announcements
• Sell ride wristbands, My Boardwalk Play cards and Season Passes
• Maintain, enter and update files and records
• Advise supervisor of needed supplies
• Assist in keeping office, Lost & Found room and kitchenette organized, clean and safe
• Follow safety procedures and proper lifting techniques
• Notify Concessionaires of customer appointments and deliveries
• Will be trained as a Season Pass/Group Sales Office Representative
• May be scheduled to work in a different department to assist with staffing needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Training and Experience
Must provide outstanding Guest Service. Some customer service and cash handling experience is helpful.

• Knowledge of general office skills: familiarity with computer keyboard, multiline phone systems and filing
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and accurately in a friendly, positive and professional manner
• Ability to provide information about tickets, all day wristbands, season passes and promotions
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to quickly learn Company policies and procedures
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Physical Requirements
• Able to work in a confined space and to sit for up to eight hours at a time
