Housekeeping Supervisor (Maintenance)

Edgefield Post Acute is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our Housekeeping 🧼 and Laundry 👕 Departments. This key role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and guests. We are seeking someone who takes pride in high standards, strong leadership, and supporting a team in a healthcare setting.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• 🧽 Oversee daily cleaning and laundry operations in resident rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces
• 📅 Create and manage staff schedules, assignments, and time-off requests
• 🔍 Conduct regular inspections to ensure sanitation and infection control standards
• 📦 Manage supply inventory and coordinate orders for cleaning and laundry products
• 🦺 Ensure compliance with OSHA, CMS, and internal policies on infection control and safety
• 🤝 Collaborate with nursing, maintenance, and dietary teams to ensure smooth operations
• 📈 Train, supervise, and coach staff to maintain high performance and morale

✅ Qualifications:

• 🎓 High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications a plus)
• 📆 2+ years of experience in housekeeping/laundry services, 1+ year in a supervisory role (preferably in healthcare or long-term care)
• 🧴 Knowledge of cleaning agents, laundry procedures, and infection control
• 💬 Strong communication and leadership skills
• ⏱️ Ability to manage time effectively and work flexible shifts (including weekends/holidays)
