This position is responsible for leading the Continuous Improvement and Productivity initiatives for their assigned Business Unit. The Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager shall be responsible for providing the expertise and leadership necessary to develop and implement Continuous Improvement and Productivity initiatives aimed at producing high quality products, in a safe, efficient, and cost effective environment. They will drive CI programs and have leadership accountabilities in the delivery of the BU's productivity targets.
Responsibilities:
Experience, Skills, Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Manufacturing, Operations Management or Supply Chain Management. Or 5 years of proven track record leading continuous improvement initiatives in a plant manufacturing environment required
SQF Practitioner certification preferred, will need to obtain in first 6 months if not currently certified
HACCP certification preferred, will need to obtain in first 6 months if not currently certified
Lean Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing knowledge preferred
Previous ERP System experience required, JD Edwards preferred
Proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite required
Knowledge of packaging equipment highly preferred
