Sales and Marketing Coordinator (Administrative)
Title: Sales and Marketing Coordinator
Department: Administrative Support
General Summary:
The primary objective of this position is to assist the Sales and Engineering teams in Georgia through the implementation of regional marketing and business development plans in support of new sales and renewal revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Executes regional marketing programs in support of Sales and Engineering initiatives.
2.Participates in monthly sales meetings to review upcoming marketing activities and present
status reports on campaign results.
3.Develops, implements, and oversees the direct marketing campaigns (cookouts, golf outings,
tradeshows, seminars/training, Automation Fair, RAOTM, and communications) designed to
achieve short and long term sales growth and to establish and maintain positive customer
relations.
4.Coordinates supplier generated sales incentive programs for Account Managers and Inside
Sales.
5.Documents marketing programs and prepares regular activity reports.
6.Manages program costs within allocated budget.
7.Coordinates all internal and external media campaigns associated with the marketing of the
Georgia region. This includes activities such as contact management and marketing materials.
8.Coordinates quarterly review of CRM marketing lists as they pertain to specific events for both
training and supplier programs.
9.Manages marketing funds for all Georgia locations, including, but not limited to, the ordering of
promotional materials and sales incentives.
10.Conducts Internal Training on CRM software package.
11.Coordinates the annual A-D Field Marketing Summit and is responsible for the reporting of
scheduled activities to both AD and Sales Managers on a quarterly basis.
12.Assists General Manager with administrative functions.
13.Assists Sales Managers with managing customer attendance goals for the RAOTM, AF, etc.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
1.Bachelor's degree required; marketing, project management, and/or sales support experience
within an electrical distribution environment preferred. Depth of related experience will be
considered in lieu of education.
2.Knowledge of McNaughton-McKay operations and products preferred.
3.Excellent organizational, writing and communication skills.
4.Advanced computer skills, all Microsoft Office products and/or Desktop Publishing.
5.Strong analytical skills; ability to understand, interpret and work with data.
6.High level of initiative; ability to meet deadlines.
