Job Description:
Provide records creation, circulation, storage, transfer, tracking, and disposition services as defined in EPIQ's service agreement with client. Join a team that that cares about each other and works towards a common goal that makes a difference.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Adhere to best practices while performing the following: records creation, circulation, storage (internal or offsite), transfers (to/from clients or other firms), tracking, and disposition.
Effectively maintain and run reports from the document management systems iManage (electronic) and iRM (paper).
Assist with orienting and training others on the appropriate records management processes and procedures as requested by the client.
Apply RIM/IG (Records and Information Management and Information Governance) standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
High School Diploma or GED (Bachelors preferred).
1 year records, document, file, information, data management, or law firm experience; medical records also translates well.
Familiarity with document management systems such as iManage Records Manager (we are happy to train you).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented with attention to accuracy and efficiency.
Good organization skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
Experience being in charge of an office while also being able to collaborate with a virtual team.
Good customer service and prompt responsiveness.
Capable of working in a steady and reliable fashion to meet deadlines.
Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater.
Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time.
Eager to continuously learn and problem solve and share success.
Supportive of coworkers, eager to cross-train in Reception and Office Services as needed.
RIM Certifications such as the CRM, IGP, CIP, and CIGO are encouraged but not required.
Successful candidates must be fully vaccinated from COVID-19 prior to the start date as a condition of employment.
