Mission of the Role (What you will be doing) The Human Resources Manager reports to the President, with a dotted line to the Corporate Director of HR and is a key member of the regional leadership team. This role cultivates trust, credibility and rapport with local/regional employees and acts as the voice of the employee and advisor to management with respect to SupplyOnes talent strategy, which is focused on attracting, developing and retaining a skilled and highly engaged workforce. In addition to strategic guidance, the HR Manager is responsible for implementing processes and providing employees and management with guidance on employment practices, performance management, employee benefits, legal compliance, including with respect to ADA, FMLA and Workers Compensation, workplace risk management and proper implementation of SupplyOnes human resources policies and procedures. The Human Resources Manager also ensures timely, accurate, and complete payroll processing. SupplyOne is a lean organization and the HR Manager, like all SupplyOne employees, is expected to roll up his or her sleeves to ensure requisite tasks are completed. Key Duties & Accountabilities (Primary responsibilities & quantifiable metrics) Accessibility Maintain open door policy and personal accessibility to all to invite open employee communication, engagement and issue resolution. Active participation as member of SupplyOne HR Council Employment Practices Maintain ongoing relationships with employment agencies to source qualified candidates. Proactively recruit and assess candidates and ensure proper interviewing processes. Provide a consistent, high-quality onboarding experience for new hires aligned with role specific learning plans to accelerate productivity and positive experiences as a SupplyOne employee. Facilitate the employee review process. Ensure follow-through on development and skills needs utilizing SupplyOne resources, and improvement plan commitments to ensure they are completed on time and in full. Create actionable development plans for all employees in conjunction with management team. Ensure employee information is complete and up-to-date at all times in all systems utilized for employee communications and reporting. Compliance Complete annual training to stay current on employment law compliance, including with respect to harassment, ADA, FMLA, Workers Compensation, and workplace risk management best practices annually (minimum). Schedule, facilitate delivery and track relevant employee compliance training in SupplyOnes LMS to ensure all training is part of each employees record. Policies & Procedures Implement and administer SupplyOne human resources policies and procedures. Ensure each employee is aware of employee policies annually, communicating updates as they occur. Proactively develop/refine human resources policies and procedures for review by HR Council. Payroll and Benefits Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis accurately and on-time. Ensure compliance with local, state and Federal tax, wage and hour and sick leave laws.Provide benefits support as needed. Issue Resolution Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, employee relations and performance management issues, providing quality advice and service to employees and management. Promptly communicate/escalate and resolve employee issues to an acceptable, timely and appropriate resolution. Conduct workplace investigations, disciplinary and termination procedures according to SupplyOne guidelines. Maintain accurate records and document all service and performance related activities and discussions. Maintain employee and workplace privacy. General Office Assist other office staff when necessary to ensure maximum productivity and personalized service.Greet visitors and make arrangements for high-quality visits and customer events. KPI Leadership Train and develop team on individual, department specific, and collective KPIs as appropriate. Educational/Training Requirements/Experience (What your background should look like) Bachelors degree preferred Minimum of 7 years of Human Resources experience Prior experience in supervisory role preferred Experience with Kronos preferred Bi-lingual English and Spanish language skills preferred Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Ability Requirements Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks; follow-through Comfortable collaborating with others Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Demonstrated initiative in personal professional development Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally over the phone, and in person, at our own facilities and at customer or third party sites Ability to travel up to 3 5 days per month to other SupplyOne locations, including El Paso, TX and Albuquerque, NM.
