Come Join Us!Job Summary:Develops and optimizes SiC wafer and substrate characterization methods with particular emphasis on optical techniques. Carries out engineering & scientific support tasks that enhance the overall efficiency of AMD operations and product quality. Contributes to the ISO required documentation of operating procedures and maintains SPC charts. Ensures equipment properly calibrated with standards and appropriate SPC in place. Determines the need for materials characterization equipment and assists in its procurement. Analyzes and models experimental data to establish correlations and trends. Establishes process reliability and "bottlenecks". Finds innovative solutions to technical problems that lead to the improved product quality, increased yields and throughput.
