Your Impact:
Hearst Magazines (publishers of brands such as Cosmopolitan, Elle, Esquire, Good Housekeeping and Delish) is seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to help drive strategic ad sales marketing efforts across the portfolio. The job reports to the Vice President of Industry Marketing and Ad Communications and will also work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and sales leadership across the company.
The mandate in this role is to apply strategic thinking and knowledge of capabilities across digital, social, video, print and experiential platforms to create best-in-class opportunities that build on Hearst's powerful editorial voices in ways that allow for advertiser partnership. The emphasis will be on category- and brand-agnostic messaging that speaks to shared values of diversity, equity and inclusion, to elevating voices across the cultural spectrum, to providing important information and opportunities to a broad audience, and to positioning Hearst and its ad partners as social and cultural leaders.
This is a critical role that requires a generalist – someone who can write well, work pro-actively and independently, manage varied tasks, and project manage with dexterity, thoroughness, and attention to detail. Importantly, as this role resides in the business division, success will be measured by the rate of success in selling advertising partnerships.
