COMPENSATION INFORMATION
The salary range(s) represents our good faith estimate for the role at this time. While we strive to provide competitive and transparent compensation, there may be circumstances where an offer is above or outside of the listed range. We are open to discussing salary expectations with qualified candidates considering factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location will all be considered during the hiring process.

Senior IAM Analyst | Pay Range: $85,800.00 - $109,450.00

At SPP, our Privileged Access Management (PAM) program acts as a critical shield, securing high-level access to vital systems and data. By enforcing strict controls, monitoring activities, and minimizing risks, we prevent breaches, ensure compliance, and protect our reputation—all while keeping operations seamless.

As a Senior IAM Analyst, you'll be part of a skilled and experienced IAM team dedicated to safeguarding our systems and the power grid. You will play a key role in designing, developing, implementing, and managing enterprise-wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes and systems aligned with our governance strategy.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Identity and Access Management, and more specifically Privileged Access Management. This candidate would have experience working with and implementing a mature PAM program, including advanced privilege administration, privileged account analytics, direct integration with target systems, and extensive automation of workflows and intelligence gathering.

What You'll Do:

  • Administer and maintain PAM solutions, with a focus on CyberArk components

  • Configure, manage, troubleshoot, and grow the use of CyberArk tools

  • Develop and enforce IAM policies, procedures, and standards

  • Monitor and audit privileged access activities to ensure compliance and security

  • Investigate and resolve IAM-related security incidents promptly

  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate CyberArk with other systems and automate access workflows

  • Provide technical training, coaching, and guidance to IAM team members and end-users

  • Support internal and external audits related to access management

  • Develop and implement strategies to mature the PAM program

To be successful as the Applications Analyst or Programmer Developer, we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • At least six (6) years of relevant experience in Security Engineering and/or Identity and Access Management (IAM), with proven expertise in Privileged Access Management (PAM), particularly CyberArk.

  • Experience developing IAM workflows and documentation, with a comprehensive understanding of authentication, authorization, role-based access control, least privilege, and segregation of duties principles.

  • Proficient in managing and supporting Microsoft Windows, Unix/Linux operating systems, application support, and database management systems.

  • Skilled in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performing detailed analyses.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of and adherence to corporate and departmental policies, including SOC1 and NERC CIP audit controls.

  • Hands-on experience with CyberArk suite, API integration, and management.

  • Familiarity with Active Directory, LDAP, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python for automation of IAM tasks.

  • Ability to quickly learn and apply security frameworks and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SailPoint IIQ is preferred
  • Two (2) or more years applicable utility industry experience
  • Basic understanding of SPP's core business model

Position Type, Location, and Expected Hours of Work: 

  • This is a full-time, hybrid onsite position located in Little Rock, Arkansas. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional extended hours as needed. Remote work is authorized for senior-level candidates who reside more than 50 miles from SPP headquarters.
