Sr Logistics Analyst (Finance)



As a Sr Logistics Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the end-to-end logistics operations. You will be responsible for coordinating transportation, warehousing, and inventory management to ensure efficient supply chain operations and give Honeywell a competitive edge in the market. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations, driving cost savings, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Your strategic insights and leadership will shape the company's logistics direction, contributing to its overall success and competitive edge.

This position is dedicated to supporting a capital mega project for LNG Modules under the UOP UPT equipment business group. You will support the daily logistics activities of the project from fabrication to onsite delivery.As a Sr Logistics Analyst here at Honeywell, you will optimize end-to-end logistics, coordinate transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, and develop strategies to enhance cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will report directly to our Logistics Supervisor, and you'll work out of either the Rosemont, IL or Tulsa, Ok location.YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years' work experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Management
  • Logistics Planning & Execution
  • Oversized equipment experience
  • International Freight experience
  • Container, Ro/Ro, Heavy Lift, Barge, Air & General Cargo Transport
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
  • Power user in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Act as the primary functional Logistics SME to the Senior Leadership Team
  • Support major capital project execution
  • Meet Inbound and Outbound Targets
  • Manages Daily and Quarter Priorities
  • Maintain System Integrity
  • Manage ad-hoc activities
  • Develop logistic plans
  • Daily and Monthly reporting (internal/external)
  • Conduct Audits (Freight payments/budgeting)
  • Compliance with U.S. export regulations and specific country requirements for each destination
  • Preparation of international documents for clearance of goods, such as invoices, packing list, certificates of origin, dock receipts.
  • Preparation of international documentation for exports such as export declarations, shipper's letters of instructions and inland bills of lading
  • Selection of carriers based on service level, pricing and timing requirements.
  • Preparing RFQ's for bids
