The purpose of this position is to serve as an Associate Relations representative to associates in Industrial Operations. This entails being the primary point of contact for associates when they utilize the Open Door Policy and want to speak with someone from Human Resources.
Evaluating and responding to HR policy or procedure questions initiated by associates through Publix's proactive communication processes and systems, such as phone calls to the Support Associate Relations Specialist or corporate, being the point of contact listed on the Open Door Policy poster in our support facilities, calls or e-mails submitted to the PIP and Ethics Line, and calls or e-mails submitted to the Customer Care Center.
Evaluating and responding to HR associate relations concerns
Representing Publix at unemployment compensation (UC) hearings
Providing analytical and administrative support to Associate Relations Specialists for complex or in-depth investigations
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or Business
One year of experience working in a service environment, directly responsible for handling customer questions and concerns

Two years of experience as a Publix Support associate
Knowledge of Publix policies and procedures, with particular emphasis on HR policies
Knowledge of Publix's culture
Knowledge of Support business units
Knowledge of Support policies and procedures related to HR functions and systems (progressive discipline system, hiring and posting processes, NOI process and training and development programs for managers)
