Lead Maintenance Technician (Sales)
- Safety & quality awareness and promotion to other employees
- Fork truck license to enable transport of materials
- Clean and keep organized area of work
- Maintain Crane operational license
- Must be able to read, understand, and issue Maintenance Work Order.
- Must understand standards and use tools specific to product lines, equipment and measuring standards.
- Complete end of shift documentation
- Ability to read, comprehend and utilize Blue Book along with prints .
-Use of computer system for print review
- Communication of key events to next shift personnel
- Communicate with Quality Techs, Process Techs, Shipping/Receiving and other support personnel as needed
- Maintain Scissor Lift license
- Lubrication of machines. Maintaining proper oil levels in machines. Cleaning up oil/water spills and leaks. Draining
oil/water catches and buckets.
- Reporting any oil/water leaks or any machinery problems.
- Cleaning and painting of the facility and equipment. Perform routine maintenance and checks on facility machinery.
- Perform routine forklift maintenance.
- Troubleshooting, repairing and installing hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
- Simple fabrication of tables, jigs, fixtures, etc. for projects and improvements.
- Assist production in resolving machinery related processing issues for injection molding.
- Startup, operation and shutdown of facility support equipment (i.e. compressors, cooling water).
-Implement project based work as needed.
- Plan work schedule based on priorities.
- Requisition parts needed for work and maintain inventory system for spare parts.
- Troubleshooting, repairing and installation of guarding
- Administer and manage LOTO and other EHS systems as required.
- Must be able to use hand tools. Able to setup and operate all tool room equipment for basic machining operations, sawing,
drilling, grinding, torches, meters, etc
-Interpret mechanical, electrical and hydraulic prints and schematics
-Interface with equipment technical support to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair.
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintenance infrastructure systems of facility and grounds.
- Electric motors and drive systems troubleshooting, repair and installation.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC / electrical control systems throughout the facility. Ability to add/modify/adjust programming
for advancement on machines.
- Manage ARC Flash Assessment program for facility.
- Plan and implement PLC / Electrical Controls Project work
- Plan, design, and execute upgrades, retrofits, and facilities infrastructure improvements and/or projects.
- Plan and implement project based work based upon priorities and schedules
- Establish, maintain and administer Preventive and Predictive Maintenance System for facility and equipment.
- Education and experience to Industrial Maintenance Technology program; covering mathematics, hydraulics, basic
electricity/electronics, AC/DC systems, circuits, PLCs, motors, CNC, and Welding.
- Education and experience to Industrial Electricity - Electronics program; covering Industrial Electrical Systems, Electronic
Circuits, and PLC technology.
- Maintaining, troubleshooting/repairing of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic equipment,
components and infrastructure. Plan, design and execute upgrades, retrofits, and facilities infrastructure improvements
and/or projects.
