Linux Infrastructure Administrator (Information Technology)

We are seeking a Linux Infrastructure Administrator to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining system performance, troubleshooting OS issues, and implementing new configurations. You'll work with both hardware and software across LAN and WAN environments, ensuring system security, backups, and performance optimization. • Full-time Linux Infrastructure Administration position in Oklahoma City, OK with a hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) work schedule

What you'll do:

• Maintain and configure Linux (RHEL) and Windows systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Creating and managing user accounts, assigning permissions and controlling access using security best practices.
• Assist in building new configurations and connections while troubleshooting system issues.
• Automate system processes using scripting to improve efficiency.
• Monitor system resources, capacity, and performance.
• Manage OS patching, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
• Implement and maintain system backups and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external support providers to enhance infrastructure operations.

Who we're looking for:

Required experience:

• 3 - 5 years in IT infrastructure or closely related IT systems role
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate degree in computer science or closely related field preferred or a combination of education and experience

Preferred experience:

• Disaster recovery and capacity planning
• Cloud computing and network analysis
• Backup and recovery solutions
• Automation and scripting
