BBH Integration Lead - Global Delivery, Managing Director (Finance)



Who we are looking for

The BBH Integration Leader – GD will manage the process of combining BBH's functional operational organization with Global Delivery, designing processes that bring together the best practices of both companies and converting $5.4T of AUC/A in State Street's operating environment. 

What you will be responsible for

  • Integration Program Office

    • Establish a program structure to oversee the integration of Custody and Tax Operating model and resolve issues that arise during the integration process

    • Design and implement a governance process for Custody and Tax that will involve leaders from both STT and BBH

    • Establish metrics, reporting and escalation processes

    • Ensure work stream stays on track

    • Manage communications and employee engagement

  • Process and Organizational Design

    • Assess the process flows, technology, controls and oversight from both organizations

    • Determine which processes, technologies and capabilities represent the best of each organization

    • Design optimized processes that draw on both organizations' capabilities and define a transition path to migrate to the target state

  • Fund conversion

    • Execute a conversion team and conversion program office that will operate across EMEA, APAC and North America

    • Gather detailed information about the funds to be converted and service requirements associated with fund and client

    • Determine the conversion sequencing based on fund characteristics, availability of required technology enhancements, client preferences and workload balancing

    • Execute the custody, accounting and administration conversion

    • Work with the head of the Transfer Agency business to determine the TA, ALTs and Other functional leads end state and develop a conversion approach

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, MS or similar advanced degree

  • 10-15 years of experience in the asset servicing industry

  • Ability to drive a complex program with multiple work streams and stakeholders

  • Deep understanding of fund accounting and custody product offering

  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries to agree on goals, garner resources and drive results

  • Strong strategic thinker with ability to quickly assess complex problems, prioritize key issues, focus on relevant facts, and execute a plan

  • Action and results-oriented

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build the trust and respect of senior executives

  • Highly motivated candidate with exceptional communication and organizational skills

  • Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Strong writing and presentation skills with acute attention to detail

  • Ideal candidate is seeking broad exposure to the Bank and its operations, has a “can do” attitude with strong ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
