Program Assistant I, II, & III (Finance)
Provide clerical support including but not limited to:
maintaining program operational files;
data collection for program evaluation;
data entry into a variety of databases and spreadsheets
inventory system, material purchasing and ordering;
developing flyers;
draft correspondence and reports under direction of their Supervisor.
Assist clients in locating and accessing community resources;
· Provide clients with intake services as well as assist clients with completion of required program forms.
Additional Job Duties & Responsibilities (Program Assistant II):
Assist with the ongoing community coordination of local resources for implementation of the program, including outreach activities;
Assist their Supervisor in maintaining close working relationships with local community organizations, schools, businesses, families, etc. to promote program mission statement.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent;
Proficiency in Windows Operating System: Microsoft Excel and Word applications, E-mail and Internet access
Work independently and with minimal supervision;
Effective oral and written communication skills;
Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail;
Interact with diverse groups of people;
Possess a continuously valid California drivers' license, an acceptable driving record, and appropriate vehicle insurance;
Ability to lift 30 pounds.
Desired Qualifications:
Spanish bi-lingual, bi-cultural, bi-literate;
Knowledge of community resources;
Outreach or recruitment experience for organizations, programs or projects;
Experience working with and supervision of volunteers;
A.A. Degree in a social services field.
