You will be responsible for leading the coordination of internal resources and leveraging external relationships to create new business opportunities. Primary responsibilities include: creating new customer relationships, developing leads and closing sales with high velocity. We are looking for someone with strong technical, negotiation and interpersonal skills who loves the thrill of chase and closing the sale.
Responsibilities
Prospect for new business, develop leads, nurture, and close sales opportunities
Conduct sales demonstrations for potential customers
Drive sales through partners including distribution and system integrators
Provide expertise to end users, OEMs, installers, consultants, engineers, etc. regarding product specifications and selection
Participate in professional organizations to enhance lead generation potential and build network
Meet or exceed assigned annual sales and profitability budgets
Identify and communicate new customer and market requirements to engineering and product management teams
Assist Business Leadership & Engineering Management with integration of new product / services programs and assists in the collection of global market pricing to support those opportunities.
Works with the Business Unit & Engineering Management to evaluate / execute strategies for Industry or brand promotion.
Actively scopes out objectives and tasks prioritizing them by the highest return to Digital Solutions.
Research and identify new target customers and new applications for Digital Solutions
Qualifications
Broad industry and application knowledge: aggregate cement, food & beverage, life sciences, mining, metals, chemical, oil and gas, material handling
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
40-50% travel to customers and partners within assigned regional territory
Demonstrated success selling digital product solutions within industrial markets
Periodic attendance to local tradeshows, industry, and partner events
>10years industrial sales experience
Reports to Digital Solutions Sales Manager
Create business plan based on goals set for assigned territory
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, CRM & Power Point
