Offsite Linen Worker Crestview (Healthcare)

Job Title: Off-Site Linen Distribution Technician
Location: Crestview
Shift: Full-time, early mornings (3:00 AM - 11:30 AM)

Rate $16.00 per hour, 40 Hours per week.

Job Summary
We are seeking a confident, quick-acting Off-Site Linen Distribution Technician with excellent communication skills for our Crestview location. If you are committed to measurable performance and continuous improvement, we want to hear from you!

Essential Functions
Transport clean linen in covered carts to designated areas.
Collect soiled linen from various locations and transport it in covered carts to designated areas.
Verify quantities of linen to be delivered.
Perform linen inventory as required.
Resolve client issues and communicate effectively with the supervisor regarding potential client issues and linen quality concerns.
Build and sustain great customer relationships by providing customer support and collaborating with internal resources to solve customer issues.
Uphold quality standards and maintain the department in a clean, orderly, and safe fashion.
Adhere to established procedures and requirements of the institution.
Operate equipment and perform duties related to the successful operation of the department as needed.
Understand, observe, and adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
Perform general clerical duties such as typing and answering phones.
Adhere to Joint Commission Standards.
Assist and perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
High School diploma or GED.
1 to 2 years of experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or similar industries.
Solid customer relations and service skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Positive “can do” attitude with the ability to lead.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and reach for various items.
Ability to operate laundry equipment, carts, and storage and dispensing mechanisms.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and push or pull a cart weighing up to 250 pounds.
Willingness to work evenings, night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Comfort with giving and receiving open feedback.
Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn new applications.
Physical Requirements
Standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, grasping, lifting 50 lbs. or more, and stooping.
Ability to move rolling carts of varying weights and sizes, up to and exceeding approximately 250 lbs.
Ability to meet physical demands for the entire shift.
Education
High School diploma or GED.
1 to 2 years of experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or similar industries.
