As the Production Sanitation Operator you will be responsible to clean all equipment and infrastructure in a thorough and efficient manner, with an emphasis on strictly adhering to Trilliant Food & Nutrition safety rules and procedures. The Production Sanitation Operator will clean and sanitize the equipment and work areas in the food processing facility to ensure maximum production. They will be using high pressure hoses (e.g. water, air), scrub brushes, hand towels, vacuums, brooms, dry ice blaster, mops, and chemical cleaning agents. The Production Sanitation Operator cleans & sanitizes all equipment in compliance with company policy related to Good Manufacturing Processes and Safety. They will also be expected to assist on a production line if necessary. The Production Sanitation Operator will be required to complete sanitation paperwork correctly and in a timely manner. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of production machinery to ensure equipment is clean and ready for production. Understands and complies with GMP, HACCP, SQF, and Sanitation procedures Responsible for accurately filling out required paperwork Good team working skills as well as the aptitude to work alone Works at different workstations as production needs require Use water, dry ice, chemicals, and sanitizer to clean and sanitize equipment and production rooms daily Detailed sanitation and up-keep of the facility along with ensuring that all processing equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized to establish standards to process food products Identify and report food safety and food quality issues Follow all OSHA safety guidelines required by company Operate forklift, scissors lift and/or other equipment. Possess knowledge of safe chemical use, handling and storage. Ensure that all chemicals are properly stored and labeled. Follow Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS). Identify production machinery defects and complete work orders for correction. Provide coaching, training, and feedback to employees on cleaning techniques. Support all safety, food quality and sanitation initiatives and policies. Follow Trilliant Food & Nutrition safety rules and procedures. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned. Responsible for following food safety/quality/regulatory policies and procedures, executing responsibilities as identified in standard operating procedures, and reporting food safety/quality/regulatory concerns to the Production or Quality Manager.
