Medical Officer (Healthcare)
Heluna Health invites applicants to apply for the position of Medical Officer with LA County Department of Public Health's Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) to support comprehensive COVID-19 screening testing for K-12 schools for the 2021-2022 school year. The Medical Officer will support Heluna Health and other County Project staff in completing tasks surrounding COVID-19 testing and the reopening of independent and private schools.
Under the supervision of the Chief Program Officer (CPO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Medical Officer will provide clinical and epidemiologic consultation and assistance on investigations of COVID-19 testing. Consultation and assistance will be provided to colleagues within the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, project team, schools, and to the medical/healthcare community.
This is a temporary, grant-funded, full time, benefited position. This role will be primarily onsite at fixed, mobile, and designated school site operations. Remote work may be required for this program.
