Job Summary
The Senior Manager of Analytic Engineering and Growth (SMAEG) is a strategic role within the HORNE REDi Healthcare Analytics Division. This working manager sets the direction for analytic engineers within HORNE's REDi division. The SMAEG holds overall responsibility for envisioning, communicating, and implementing the strategy for how analytic engineers create business value for the division and our clients. The SMAEG also develops the career track for REDi analytic engineers and associated analytic job families.
The SMAEG works closely with the Senior Manager of Healthcare Analytics and the Senior Manager of Technology & Development to understand new technologies and how they support innovative solutions to meet client needs. The SMAEG partners with the Senior Manager of Analytic Education and Partnership to derive value from educational offerings which advance analytic engineer capabilities for client benefit. The SMAEG is responsible for working with clients and/or technical leads to understand and leverage available data and propose solutions that will meet their strategic and tactical objectives. The SMAEG also advises on the development of the technical curriculum for the education and training of our clients on these technologies.
The SMAEG oversees day-to-day development of analytic engineering work as well as defining and overseeing adoption of best practices for analytic solutions. Additionally, the SMAEG is key advisor in helping our clients understand the necessary policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance and data governance within their analytic solutions.
The SMAEG role is a strategic position on a cross functional leadership team. The desired individual has experience as an analytic leader working across multiple functional areas in healthcare, government, and the private sector. The SMAEG will spend most of their time up-leveling the analytic expertise of the division with a small, dedicated portion of time focused on helping with business development and operations. This position requires up to 35% travel.
