Production Associate - Clean Linens (Manufacturing)

Job Description:

Production Associates deal with clean hospital linens.  The job consists of feeding reprocessed linens into machines, hand folding or packing the linens, and other necessary job duties. 

First shift is 7AM-545PM.

Each shift is ten (10) hours, and the workweek is four (4) days per week.  Each Production Associate is required to work one weekend shift. 

Sign on bonus offered for all full-time shifts!

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Separate, fold, and properly distribute clean linen.
• Inspect clean linen to ensure all quality standards have been met.
• Work within established productivity and quality standards.
• Make recommendations to facility management for methods of improvement.
• Mentor and train fellow associates after mastery of tasks.
• Ability to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Keep workstation neat and clean.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Detail-oriented.
• Able to learn quickly.
• Able to perform repetitive physical motion at a workstation.
• Willing and capable of working on different assignments within the facility or designated area.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Able to stand on feet for long periods. Production and/or assembly experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures.
