The Director of Workforce Training is a key leadership position reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources and working closely with HR, the Office of the Medical Staff and Administration. This position leads in the development and implementation of a broad set of workforce development training initiatives to ensure:• All staff properly onboarded to the facility
• All staff meet all regulatory training compliance
• All staff trained to work at the top of their field
• All staff have opportunity to build their skills when desired
• Build opportunities for community to train to get jobs within the health center – create intentional pipeline for commonly needed positions.
• A focus on diversity, equity and inclusion – strong intentionality to see people of color and those economically challenged be employed and have opportunity to advance.
Other responsibilities include:
• Will manage Tuition Reimbursement and Staff Development Benefits
• Will oversee and manage the Health Centers Learning Management System (currently Relias)
• Will develop and assign curriculum to cohorts of staff
• Will create partnerships with other teaching facilities and organizations
• Will apply for and manage grants related to training opportunities
• Will manage support staff within the Education and Training Department
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in education, human resources, sociology, social justice, behavioral sciences, multicultural studies, or a related field.
