Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Analyst will provide and maintain data for key KPIs with advanced analytics and insights to drive revenue strategies, lower costs and find efficiencies with our websites and digital marketing efforts. Integrate and collaborate with our Ecommerce team on insights to effectively present a holistic picture of the customer journey as well as work in alignment with Analytics leadership on key opportunities for data optimization.
Education & Experience:
• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a role primarily focused on Digital Marketing.
• Digitally savvy and curious with strong functional / technical knowledge of purchase processes and digital marketing platforms.
• Intimate familiarity with Google Analytics and other digital analytics platforms (Hotjar, Google Ads, Facebook Insights) – and going beyond mere KPI reporting to interpret trends and recommend courses of action.
• Effectively works across functions, channels, and categories to align priorities, solve problems, optimize resources, and develop effective strategic insights.
• 2-5 years experience
Responsibilities:
Create and implement analytical reporting and insights:
• Work to create a templatized, systematic (and when possible automated) approach to reporting for the entire Digital team
• Deliver insights to the Digital team in a consumable format to drive efficiencies in revenue and the customer experience
• Work with each member of the Digital team to develop an optimized and streamlined reporting cadence for their unique platform (onsite, SEO, social media, paid ads, email etc.)
• Work with leadership team to roll up those more granular ‘subject matter expert' reports into high-level, holistic reports with clear highlights and actionable items
Growth:
• Work with cross functional teams to accelerate e-commerce and digital marketing top line growth and profitability by informing, creating, and identifying strategy and tactical proficiencies.
• Help determine the effectiveness of marketing campaigns by analyzing clickstream data and user behavior tracking.
• Help create a revenue attribution model and golden path analysis.
• Keep leadership up to date on current campaigns and marketing initiatives, informing them on which aspects of campaigns are the most effective and which are not, and advising them on how to tweak campaigns to get maximum attention and create more revenue.
Skills & Abilities:
• Proven strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good working knowledge of Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Hubspot, Hotjar, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Sprout Social, and general ability to learn new platforms as they are implemented.
• Be a self-starter. Ability to work and deliver with limited management requirement.
• Ability to pursue win-win solutions with persistence, compromise, and respect.
• Familiarity with the latest digital marketing trends, as well as established marketing data best practices.
