Driver (Transportation)



Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, FTE 1.0 1st shift position 8:00am-5:30pm, 4 days/week, 10 hour days, including Saturday and Sunday. Weekends needed - flexible on the schedule, can be Thursday and Sun or Saturday and Tuesday. Hours may vary based on department needs.

We're seeking a Driver to: 

  • Operate a UW Health fleet vehicle to pick up and deliver a variety of materials, including supplies, medical equipment, labs, and medical records.
  • Load and unload items for delivery.
  • Work with both internal and external customers and demonstrate great customer service skills.
  • Perform vehicle safety inspections and monitor the vehicle's oil and fuel levels.
  • Follow proper procedures and safety precautions while operating a motor vehicle.

Education:

Preferred – High School diploma or equivalent

Work Experience:

Preferred – Experience in delivery setting involving multiple locations

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
