Director- Information Security Operations (Finance)
The Director Information Security Operations is responsible for all aspects of Information Security operations including directing the operations of the SOC and ensuring policies, procedures, and objectives align with optimal identification, prioritization, investigation, and resolution of security incidents. The Director will evolve the incident response program that aligns with the enterprise incident management framework and includes incident detection, analysis, containment, eradication, recovery and forensic artifacts required for additional investigations. This position leads Security Automation and Continuous Monitoring (SACM) efforts to include continuous assessment of all operating environments and the corresponding analysis and reporting. This role will oversee the development of, and implementation enhancements to, Verisign's forensics and investigation program in addition to leading the insider threat technical program. The Director is responsible for representing the company externally as the Verisign cybersecurity operations subject matter expert supporting technical government and policy organizations as appropriate.
Responsibilities:
• Directs the operations of the SOC and ensures policies, procedures, and objectives align with optimal identification, prioritization, investigation, and resolution of security incidents
• Develops and maintains an incident response program that includes incident detection, analysis, containment, eradication, recovery and forensic artifacts required for additional investigations
• Directs Security Automation and Continuous Monitoring (SACM) efforts to include continuous assessment of all operating environments and the corresponding analysis and reporting
• Develops and maintains an insider threat program, incorporating requirements from stakeholders, defining and implementing a technology roadmap, leading incident response
• Directs the offensive security program to include penetration testing, purple team, and incident response exercises
• Leads the Information Security vulnerability management program, managing the scanning, configuration, communication, and metrics to validate all teams are properly performing cyber hygiene
• Represents the company externally as the Verisign cybersecurity operations subject matter expert supporting government and policy organizations
