Park Host (Finance)
Provides the highest level of Guest Service. Sweeps, picks up trash, maintains the cleanliness of tables, benches, MyBoardwalk Card Kiosks, ATM machines, landmark items and general appearance of Boardwalk including street side, entrances and ride queues and other Company property. Answer guest questions and provides consistent, friendly and helpful service to guests.

Wear company issued uniforms. Carry cleaning supplies throughout their shift, including a broom and bucket. Shifts fall within possible operating hours of 7:00 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. Must be knowledgalble of the park operation and be able to answer guest's questions, and may work in a dedicated position as a park greeter. Must be at least 15 years old. Must be able to stay focused on the job and deal effectively with heavy guest contact. Use company two-way radio or phone in order to respond to spills. Lead Sweeper: Must be at least 16 years old.
Job Tasks
Greet every Guest and answer Guest's questions and provide consistent, friendly and helpful Guest Service.
Sweep Boardwalk, street side of the Boardwalk, ride queues, entrances and other Company Property.
Look for and report safety hazards.
Report guest disturbances to Security.
Report graffiti to Maintenance Department.
Carry two-way radio or wireless phone in order to promptly respond to spills.
Run errands as needed.
Assist lost children and escort to Guest Services office.
Clean equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Lead Park Host
Oversee and supervise performance of Hosts.
Conduct written Guest Service observations of assigned Hosts.
Train and motivate new employees and assure that they provide consistent, friendly and helpful guest service.
Assign breaks and employee work locations.
Provide on the job training to Hosts to improve efficiency and work quality.
Ensure Boardwalk cleanliness.
Relationships (Internal)
All levels of Santa Cruz Seaside Company employees.

Extremely high volume of interaction with guests.
Qualifications: Training and Experience
Must provide outstanding Guest Service. Customer service experience is helpful.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to follow verbal and written directions.

Ability to deal with guests in a positive, friendly and helpful manner.

Physical Requirements
Able to stand and walk for up to eight hours at a time.
Able to walk and perform your job safely within crowds.
Ability to bend and stetch, to reach to be able to pick up or clean.
Able to work in a noisy environment.
Able to work outdoors.
Able to carry sweeper equipment weighing up to 10 lbs. for up to eight hours at a time.
