Leasing Representative (Sales)
As a Leasing Representative, you will be an essential member of Westfield's Leasing team. You will be responsible for enhancing the Westfield shopping experience and delivering income budgetary goals.
We are looking for a Leasing Representative with:
Demonstrated experience in:
SALES
Achieve revenue goals for Specialty Leasing program through the following:
1. Deliver new Permanent, Temporary Inline, Kiosk, and RMU retail concepts through various business development channels; cold calling retail locations, internet research and lead curation, trade shows and local entrepreneur and small business organizations.
2. Negotiate leases with retailers; business plan review, rent, percentage rent, product concept, location, term and visual display.
3. Source and negotiate Brand Venture advertising and promotion programs/income opportunities
Upsell other opportunities – value adds with other Westfield centers.
Develop market understanding and competitive analysis; GAP analysis, shopper demographics, center sales and center long term strategy.
Attend center meetings/sales training meetings as determined.
ACCOUNTING
Expense report submission and management.
Billing clarification for reconciliation with corporate accounting as required.
REPORTING
Salesforce utilization including contract management, lead and opportunity management, contract generation.
Attend system upgrade and salesforce training sessions as required.
OPERATIONAL
Review and approve visual merchandising display as part of deal negotiation.
Maintain Leasing operational standards.
The minimum requirements and skills include:
Minimum of two to three years sales, sales-related, merchandising or retail experience required.
Preferred qualifications include:
“Goal-oriented” self-starter well-disciplined in meeting tight deadlines and multi-tasking.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills able to engage entrepreneurs, small business operators and national retailers.
Relationship builder with peers and clients capable of developing teamwork and driving productivity.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles including thorough understanding of Income Statements, General Ledgers, basic Retail business plans.
Four-year college degree preferred.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Power Point, Excel)
Proficient in Salesforce.com preferred not required.
