Field Technician (Project Management)



Position Summary:We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Traveling IT Technician to support our IT infrastructure across multiple facilities. This position involves frequent travel and is responsible for the installation, setup, and troubleshooting of computer equipment, televisions, and network devices at various locations.
Key Responsibilities:

Travel to various facilities to install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and other computer hardware.
Mount and set up televisions in common areas, offices, and residential units, ensuring proper wiring and connectivity.
Install and troubleshoot basic networking hardware, including switches, access points, and routers.
Ensure all devices are properly labeled, documented, and connected to the appropriate network.
Maintain detailed records of installations, serial numbers, and configurations.
Provide on-site technical support and training to staff as needed.
Coordinate with internal IT and facility management teams to ensure projects are completed on time.
Ensure installations comply with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in IT support, technical installation, or related field.
Proficient with installing and configuring Windows-based computers and peripherals.
Experience with mounting and setting up televisions and AV equipment.
Ability to read and interpret basic floorplans or IT layout documents.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable with frequent travel, including overnight stays.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in healthcare or senior living environments.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, basic networking, and mobile device setup.
