The Corix team has an opportunity for a Business Growth Analyst in the Unites States - Remote Chicago, IL preferred. Under the leadership of the Director, Business Growth & Financial Planning, this position will support our company's business growth and development strategy. With a focus on acquisitions, developer agreements and expansions, this will include, but not be limited to; development of business cases and financial models for acquiring target utilities, building relationships with business development teams within the multiple business units at Corix, managing the growth funnel, preparing monthly reports, forecasts and ad hoc reports, and analytical support for the various business units.
Develop, revise as appropriate and gather data on an ongoing basis to ensure the Corix growth funnel accurately and substantially characterizes the growth opportunities identified and that are being pursued throughout Corix.
What you'll do
Major Accountabilities
Ensure the Corix growth funnel accurately and substantially characterizes the growth opportunities identified and being pursued throughout Corix. This is accomplished by gathering, inputting, and revising data from the business development team on an ongoing basis. Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports using data from the growth funnel.
Working closely with the CFO's staff, develop and refine overall financial models of potential growth for the short- and long-term time horizons. Such models will be used to support Corix valuation modeling, cash flow and liquidity analyses, debt planning, annual budgeting, monthly financial performance reports and forecasts, and various other financial reports as needed.
Participate in a variety of business development projects, support cross-functional business development teams and business units, and support business case development, including financial analysis activities.
Support the Chief Growth Officer team and BU leadership through quantitative analysis and risk assessment for targeted acquisitions and business development projects
Develop, review, and maintains financial models and forecasts to support and advise on acquisition or project investment decisions.

General Responsibilities
Business growth transaction execution including business proposal development and financial analysis.
Support business development leaders to develop strategies and scenario analysis for growth strategies.
Work with cross functional teams such as legal, finance, regulatory, operations and other key stakeholders to assess and accommodate requirements and finalize formal agreements.
Participate in the acquisition due diligence process and integration planning/execution.
Prepare valuation models in support of fair value, goodwill and impairment analysis.
Perform other related duties as required

What you bring
Education / Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Engineering or Business Administration, preferably with a professional designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, CFA or CBV).
3-5 years related experience
Nice to Have
Masters Business Administration an asset
