In this role, you will:
Serve in a strategic and hands-on capacity through partnering with the Business Leaders and employees on day-to-day Talent needs. This role provides guidance and support to help develop and deliver the people strategy and business solutions.
As part of the Plant Leadership Team, this role supports and collaborates with Plant Managers and Team leaders, Talent, employees, and Global People Organization COE teams.
Focusing on the 1–2-year people plan, the Plant Talent Business Partner serves in a leadership capacity within the manufacturing facilities and reports directly into the Global People Organization. This role will also provide HR leadership in the startup of a greenfield manufacturing location.
This incumbent provides direct leadership to the Plant Global People Organization team and support to all Plant employees to achieve objectives and drive sustained competitiveness and long-term viability as an organization.
Partner with Plant Manager and SC Transformation Team to start up a greenfield facility in Warren, OH:
Partner in the development of the strategic vision for plant's growth, culture, and ways of working. Align start up activities with long-term business goals.
Partner in designing, implementing, and sustaining a High-Performance Work System culture at the plant.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth progress in hiring of plant employees and development of plant policies. Manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously.
Partner with internal teams to recruit, train, and develop a skilled workforce.
Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including employees, contractors, suppliers, and community members.
Talent Business Partner:
Provide coaching for leaders, onboarding, performance and career development
Provide Talent leadership to special projects and corporate initiatives
Develop and execute plant people strategy
Develop and manage the Plant talent strategy which includes Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Management, KPIs, Retention and Recognition Planning & Culture
Following the climate survey on engagement and enablement work with leaders to diagnose and develop a plan for implementation
Ensure legal policies and procedures (including region-specific compliance requirements) are followed and maintained
Advise Plant leadership on people issues, supported by robust measurement and evaluation. Be the expert and agent on people challenges, with a key focus on talent, performance and change.
Identify learning and development needs for Leaders and participate in planning process and implementation.
Support end to end performance management process for all employees.
Ensure standardization and compliance with plant and corporate policies.
Identify business compensation needs and partner with COE to find solutions and/or provide compensation consulting to leaders, in order to attract and retain team members.
Develop workforce plans (long term and short term) in partnership with the global workforce planning team and leaders.
Lead organizational design efforts and execute the job and people elements of the design and measure results
Lead team effectiveness interventions, ensure execution and measure results (includes team assimilation)
Provide change management advice and support initiatives (program implementation & change initiatives), including building and executing change plans
Drive positive employee relations through engagement and enablement activities. Motivate team members to adhere to safety and environmental rules and foster a culture of doing the right thing
Maintain effective community and government relations to build and maintain the company's image. Establish community relations to ensure the company is perceived as a good corporate citizen and preferred employer
Actively demonstrate Safety as a value through active leadership, positive influence of mindsets and by identifying and addressing risks to prevent loss to our people, processes and materials, while ensuring compliance with OHSA for Ontario regulations, corporate policies, and plant guidelines.

Who you are?
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field preferred or equivalent experience required.
7-10 years of human resource experience is required.
Leadership experience (prior experience at a site leadership level)
Experience as HR generalist preferably in a manufacturing environment
Experience in labor relations and working in a unionized environment
Demonstrated understanding of corporate human resources policies and practices and confidentiality
Knowledgeable with federal and provincial legislation; Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code etc.

Salary Range: 127 600 – 157 600 USD

Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
