Application Programmer/Analyst I (Information Technology)

Resolve production problems and user calls. Logically diagnose and solve software and hardware problems in a Microsoft environment. Provide operation and technical support for business applications. Provide system development for projects such as new reports or systems enhancements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Services, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with web development, preferably .NET.
  • Must have some experience in data analysis, accessing data via SQL queries, and report design.
  • Requires basic knowledge of business functional area(s) and its supporting applications systems, technical platform capabilities, planning, conducting user interviews, data analysis, structural systems design methodology, and the principles of systems design, on-line design and database design.
  • The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization and have strong interpersonal skills as this is a service-oriented position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing operations knowledge and experience is a strong bonus.
  • Experience with SCADA (Inductive Automation).
  • Familiar with PowerBI, DAX, and data visualization tools.
