Maintenance Coordinator (Finance)



Schedule, procure, and manage maintenance supplies and services. Coordinate internal and external service providers to perform routine maintenance. Ensure assets are properly maintained and documented in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Provide support to Facilities and Safety departments for facilities maintenance and equipment functionality. This position requires strict documentation of procedures. Strong interpersonal and technical skills are required to work effectively and efficiently with other departments and contractors.
Professional Qualifications EDUCATION:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Familiar with proper documentation processes in the form of standard operating procedures, work instructions, and records.
  • Familiar with database technologies for recordkeeping purposes.
GENERAL:
  • Understands good documentation practices and follows the quality management system.
  • Follows written and verbal directions in various formats.
  • Learns new methods and techniques readily.
  • Enjoys and works well with other people in a cross-disciplinary team environment.

Position Responsibilities SPECIFIC:
  • Monitor Stockroom Freezers & Refrigerators
  • Monitor, maintain, and calibrate inventoried equipment such as freezers, coolers .
  • Centralize lab equipment maintenance records, monitor/update CMMS.
  • Coordinate and manage vendors for servicing and calibrating equipment.
  • Document out of tolerance items as required by ISO.
  • Assist with training personnel with the CMMS (Qualer).
SAFETY & SECURITY:
  • Perform & document monthly inspections and when necessary clean or replacement of the following equipment
    • Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Eyewash and Shower Stations
    • AED defibrillators
    • Trauma Kits
    • Emergency lighting and exits signs
  • Monthly usage reporting of isopropyl alcohol
FACILITIES:
  • Monitor and update facilities equipment maintenance program.
  • Report and document any facilities related concerns as needed while performing essential job duties.
GENERAL:
  • Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constants.
  • Working in direct sunlight on a frequent basis during the spring, summer and fall months.
  • Other duties as assigned.
