The salary range for this position is $91,900 - $114,900 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Total Rewards offerings also include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental and vision insurance, flex paid time off program, parental leave, employee discount/perks, a retirement plan with employer contributions, Summer Fridays, opportunity to work from anywhere for two weeks during the calendar year and December wellness/shutdown week for applicable positions.

SUMMARY

We're looking for our next Fenty Beauty copy superstar: You'll be working on all global copy pertaining to the brand-creating original product names, packaging copy, visual merchandising and product copy. You'll collaborate with teams across the organization to gather and employ feedback. Your copy is clear and clever with a sense of humor that stays with 'em. You're very detail-oriented but can also keep the big picture in mind; and you thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. And, very importantly, you will champion Rihanna's vision of "Beauty for All" in all that you do.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize brand voice across all channels
  • Own copy deliverables + timelines for:
    • Product Copy: Naming, Messaging, Packaging Copy, P-Pages, Infographics
    • Visual Merchandising: Billboards, seasonal updates, in-store activations globally
    • Marketing: write copy for marketing collateral including influencer, paid media and events
    • Education: Partner with education content manager on education copy needs
  • Drive for decision-making from cross-functional partners
  • Communicate with legal and regulatory to ascertain and communicate legal/regulatory risk to brand/marketing groups
  • Manage translations requests for the brand
  • Partner with the design team to ensure copy is correctly flowed into design and finds integrated visual/copy solutions
  • Proof all assets for grammar + accuracy with extreme attention to detail and pride
  • Stay current on beauty industry trends, social trends and competitors

REQUIREMENTS

  • Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in SF headquarters T-Thu
  • 5+ years of copywriting experience; beauty experience preferred
  • Celebrity and founder brand experience a plus
  • Product naming experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative self-starter; ability to navigate a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Curiosity, intellect and a passion for great ideas; ability to bring them to life is essential
  • BA degree or equivalent experience
