Electrician I (Apprentice) (Finance)
Job Summary: The Apprentice Electrician will assist a Journeyman Electrician by performing tasks under direct supervision. This job may include any aspect of field support and installation, and is not limited to electrical, data, and fiber optic cable installation; conduit and pull box installation; and pole and foundation installation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
They may stand for long periods and frequently work on ladders and scaffolds. Their working environment varies, depending on the type of job. Some may work in dusty, dirty, hot, or wet conditions, or in confined areas, ditches, or other uncomfortable places. Electricians risk injury from electrical shock, falls, and cuts; to avoid injuries, they must follow strict safety procedures. May travel to jobsites, in company vehicle, which may be up to 100 miles (or more) away. Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and moving traffic.
