About the work: Read and understand orders with prints, drawings, or fabrication instructions using knowledge of belt/product composition, equipment, and fabrication processes.Fixturing set up for cutting/ milling materials.Operate bandsaw, drilling/milling machines, cutting and routing machines.Work both individually and together with team members to complete custom job orders.Use basic hand tools (hammer, knives, wrenches, measuring tapes, T-squares, etc.) and power tools (drills, sanders, grinders) to perform detail work specific to each project.Clean finished products and areas around the machines per 5S guidelines.Inspect, review, and sign off on a quality control sheet for the finished product.Log and record readings for equipment and procedures.Properly document labor and goods to production orders.Conduct routine preventative maintenance. Requirements: High School Diploma, or GED equivalent, preferred.Must be able to comprehend spoken and written English.Ability to lift at least 50 poundsLegally eligible for employment in this country Knowledge, Skills, &Abilities: CNC equipment operator knowledge (programming not required).Ability to adhere to safety standards.Basic math skills, including the use of fractions and measurements.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion.Ability to inspect products for quality work.Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Strong attention to detail.Proper use of PPE always required in and around work areas.
