NetSuite System Manager (Agriculture)



Job Description

NetSuite is an integral part of our global financial process and we want to bring someone onboard who can ensure that we are utilizing the tool in the most efficient way. We want to make life easier for our employees who use it! A Senior NetSuite System Manager will help guide global rollouts of NetSuite as well as be accountable for post Go-Live enhancement projects to maximize the functionality of the system. The NetSuite System Manager will help define the strategic roadmap in addition to acting as the main point of contact to aide our internal users, create simple workflows, saved searches and provide reliable documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Help administer and configure NetSuite company-wide; create and maintain users, roles, permissions, perform updates, integration and configurations for forms and customers/contacts

  • Provide NetSuite training for company users in Finance

  • Configure NetSuite to meet business needs after rollout, including fields, page layouts, workflows, approvals, and validation rules

  • Gather needs from Finance convert into projects

  • Assist with bringing in additional entities' data into NetSuite and validate data

  • Enhance existing functionality and improve processes

  • Control data and access and maintain master data

  • Manage NetSuite related user issues – roles changes, controls, and troubleshooting

  • Develop, test, deploy customizations, custom objects, third-party tools, and new system functionality based on evolving business needs

  • Offer recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes, including NetSuite projects that will simplify and automate processes

  • Assist with building integrations to 3rd party tools and help enhance system functionality based on evolving business needs

  • Be able to understand, articulate and document needed customization, reports and capabilities

  • Facilitate the test plan in release preview prior to the upgrades that NetSuite typically does twice a year

  • Work with the system integration team to help troubleshoot when data is unable to pass to NetSuite

  • Evaluate NetSuite updates and bug fixes, develop test scripts and communicate with other system users as required in response to new releases, to include notifying the organization of updates to the system, relaying system impact/changes to the field and updating SOPs if changes are needed as a result of updates

  • Provide support for UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and training to NetSuite users

  • Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting

  • Work on ad hoc projects as needed


Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of hands on work with NetSuite Administration, configuration, and development in complex business environments

  • Ability to create Saved Searches, customize standard reports and standard financial statements

  • Knowledge of best practices in NetSuite roles, permissions, customer objects, scripting, simple workflows and reports

  • Thorough comprehension of core Financial processes (P2P, O2C, R2R) and providing solutions to directors

  • Knowledge of the Advanced Revenue Management functionality a plus

  • Project management, systems implementation and integration background

  • Solid comprehension of the accounting and financial modules of NetSuite

  • Ability to automate financial transactions and processes

  • NetSuite Administrator Certification and/or NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification

  • Thorough understanding of NetSuite functionality and best practice techniques

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Computer Science

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required

  • Functional understanding of financial and operational business processes and reporting

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Good analytical judgment and problem-solving skills while demonstrating high ethical standards

  • Must be able to work well in a fast-paced team environment

  • Ability to identify and resolve issues
