Engineering Technician (Sales)

Implement productivity improvement projects resulting in improved manufacturing yields/efficiencies Promote and support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities in Manufacturing Provides training on manufacturing operators/production technicians and other staff (as needed) on WIs, change overs, PMs Supports periodic volume increases through testing of production product following applicable processes and procedures Perform fixture design and assist in fabrication to include welding and manual machining and assembly activities Manage preventive maintenance for work centers, quality lab equipment, and facilities Maintain various test records, logs, time records Interface with coworkers, supervisors, project engineers and program managers Able to setup the assembly line process (assembly sequence, tool identification) with the guidance of manufacturing engineering for an efficient production line Coordinate improvement efforts with plant maintenance department Assembly of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment Work directly with operations and engineering in running, maintaining, troubleshooting of automated assembly equipment Work with engineering staff to evaluate and specify equipment, validate functionality and identify safe, efficient and effective best practices, and develop processes for prototype and pilot production
